Decades later, Eddie George in 1995 joined Les in his triumph. The most recent Buckeye to earn the highest award in college football was stand out quaterback Troy Smith in 2006. What could be considered as one of the most impressive accomplishments in collge football history could be Ohio States very own, Archie Griffin, winning the heisman in consecutive years.
