Alabama's football dominance extends beyond national championships and winning bowl games. The Crimson Tide consistently compete for the coveted SEC Championship trophy. Winning the SEC is close to be compared to winning the national championship. In order to make it to the championship game in the SEC you have to compete and successfully beat some of the toughest competition in the nation all season long. Most of this competition is national championship difficulty including Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and now Oklahoma and Texas.
