This knitted gnome was based on the dwarf pattern of Jean Greenhowe in Knitted Toys. I enjoyed making the Gnomes and tried something different for each one. For this one, the biggest new technique was the braids and the attempt to shape the bust to create a more female gnome. This gnome corresponds to the Norse deity Freya.
