Dec 10: Congratulations to Drs. Thomas Gerding and M Christina Kander for graduating from their PhD programs, Go Bearcats!
Nov 14: Dr. Wang discussed with WKEF's Lydia Brice about potential pollutants emission and release into the environment from lithium-ion battery burns.
Oct 30: Dr. Wang received a second round of funding from the Ohio Beaure of Workers' Compensation (BWC). News release from UC and BWC.

Oct 14: Dr. Wang is appointed as a UC International Fellow for Global Partnerships and Initiative.
Feb 9: Dr. Wang received the Research Launch Award from UC Office of Research

2020
Sep 1: Dr. Wang was appointed to NIOSH on intergovernmental personnel assignments related to COVID-19 research.
Jul 30: Dr. Wang presented his research on aerosol emissions and mitigations from musical instruments as a UC ERC webinar.
Apr 25: Dr. Wang received the UC CEG New Investigator Award and a pilot project on the paradigm shift of air pollution due to the pandemic.
Jan 1: Dr. Wang joined the faculty of the Department of Environmental Health at University of Cincinnati.

2019
Oct 28: As the president of OK-AIHA, Dr. Wang oversaw the success of the first two-day annual conference held at Hudson College of Public Health.
Apr 25: Dr. Wang received the Terrance M. Hennessy professional education grant from ASSP.

2018
Sep 1: Congratulations on Marcio receiving the Sooner Innovation Fund to support his efforts to Develop low-cost high-efficiency LEV retrofit kits for small businesses.
Jul 1: Dr. Wang received an instrument development grant from the PHF on field-portable nano-sized aerosol sampler and analyzer. Jun 4: Dr. Wang won the Golden Seed Award from AIHA, highlighting his contributions to cultivating the next generation of industrial hygienists.
Apr 10: Dr. Wang received the annual Faculty Teaching Award from College of Public Health Student Association (COPHSAS).

2017
Aug 15: Dr. Wang talked about aerosol around global workplace: emission and control from an industrial hygiene perspective at the 1st International Occupational Health Forum in Beijing.
Jul 15: Dr. Wang joined the ranks of the prestigious OUHSC Faculty Leadership Fellows.
May 30: Congratulations to Jacob Bartels on winning the inaugural Azimi Family Scholarship and Marcio Bezerra on winning the inaugural Johnson Family Scholarship. These two scholarships are newly endowed from OEH alumni and faculty.
Apr 28: Congratulations to recent M.S. graduate Kevin O'Neill on being inducted to Delta Omega Honor Society, the Hall of Fame for public health professions!
Apr 18: Congratulations to Marcio Bezerra on winning the Glen R. Williamson Memorial Scholarship from AIHA Oklahoma local section, good job!

2016
Dec 1: Dr. Wang's interview with the Synergist highlighted some challenges and opportunities with industrial hygiene in China.
June 27: Our 3-D fabrication fume project is funded by the Presbyterian Health Foundation!
May 25: Dr. Wang is currently a Professional Engineer (Environmental) registered in the State of Oklahoma!

2015
Sep 1: Congratulations to Marcio Bezerra on winning AAAR student travel grant.
July 1: Our project "Representativeness of chamber sampling in metal fume exposure assessment" is awarded by SWCOEH!
Feb 1: Dr. Wang joined the Oklahoma Center for Respiratory and Infectious Diseases (OCRID) as an investigator!

2014
Jun 5: Dr. Wang gave three research talks at the American Industrial Hygiene Conference & Expo (AIHce) 2014 in San Antonio, TX.
Jan 21: Dr. Wang published a study on mercury emission from concrete processing on ES&T.

2013
Oct 4: Dr. Wang presented his research on lead and acidic gas exposure during gun firing at the AAAR annual conference in Portland, OR.
Aug 15: Dr. Wang started as an assistant professor in the Department of Occupational and Environmental Health, University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
