Heatherwoode Golf Course
Heatherwoode Golf Club is another amazing golf course between Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio. It is truly an experience to golf here. This 18-hole championship golf course was built in 1991 by Dennis Griffiths. It is renowned for its amazing views and was designed for golfers of all levels. Heatherwoode is a public course and open to all.
About
This course has five sets of tees to challenge golfers of all levels. It is a par 72 that plays to a maximum distance of 6,781 yards from the back tees. Each fairway is aligned with mature trees, and it is beautiful to play on a cool autumn morning with the leaves falling. Although finding your ball can be a nightmare. Head over to my photos page to check out pictures of Heatherwoode! This course is very well maintained and gorgeous; if you are a golfer and love nature, this course is right for you. Be careful though, as this course can get tricky, with almost every par 4 being very long, your score can add up quickly—I would know!
Amenities/Pricing
Heatherwoode offers a full-service driving range, chipping, and putting greens, as well as a very large clubhouse. An average round at Heatherwoode in-season costs about $60 to $70, while out of season it can range from $30 to $40. It's not the cheapest golf course by any means, but if you had to play one course in Dayton, this would be on my list. The views are very breathtaking.
