Yankee Trace

Yankee Trace Golf Course is 27 holes of beautiful golf, located 8 miles southeast of Dayton, Ohio in Centerville. Originally opening as an 18-hole golf course in the spring of 1995, it expanded to 27 holes in 2002. It is recognized as a top 50 municipal golf course in the country, a top five public course in Ohio, and has been named the Best Golf Course for 16 years running.

About

Golfers of all skill levels will enjoy this 27-hole course. It has a North, South, and West course. This is probably the most beautiful course I have ever played. The greens are the purest and best fairways in Dayton. Yankee Trace is a fairly open golf course, but each course is located next to one another, so you need to keep your ball in play to avoid hitting other golfers. Yankee Trace is a public golf course.

Amenities/Pricing

Being one of the top golf courses in Dayton comes with its price. In season, a typical round of 18 is around $60-$75. I would say it is well worth the price to play at this beautiful golf course. If you are tight on a budget or trying to save some money, I recommend going to play in the off-season, anywhere between late November to mid-March. There are usually about 20 days with decent weather to be outside golfing, and the rates are half price, usually anywhere from $25-$35. Yankee Trace offers a full-sized driving range, two practice putting greens, and a really nice pro shop.
