About me

Hi there, my name is Jeremy Matthews and I'm 26 years old. I was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio, but currently, I'm living in the Dayton area. Growing up, I never played golf and instead, I was big into basketball and soccer. After graduating from high school in 2014, I joined the United States Army and served for six years as an infantryman. During my time in the army, I was stationed at various locations, including Ft. Hood in Texas, Camp Hovey in South Korea, Vilseck in Germany, Poland, and France. I held positions of responsibility such as team leader and squad leader. In 2021, I received an honorable discharge from the army, and in the fall of the same year, I started attending the University of Cincinnati to study cybersecurity. I started golfing consistently in the summer of 2021, although I had played before, I never took it seriously. To be honest, I was really bad at it, and my scores were usually in the 120 plus range. However, I've been practicing a lot, and now I shoot around 95-105 on a good day. Despite my previous struggles with golf, I can't get enough of it. It's so fun and relaxing, and I enjoy playing on beautiful courses.
