Overview
This section will go over the proper way to take orders and maintain the drive-thru area.
Order Taking
- Greet the customer with a kind welcome and hello.
- Ask them how they're doing and answer should they ask how you are afterwards.
- Help them find any items they may be looking for on the menu.
- Accurately find each item they order on the ordering screen.
- Ask them if they would like a drink should they not order one.
- Ask them if they would like any of the taco sauces: mild, hot, fire, or diablo.
- Ask them if they would like to round up for the Taco Bell scholarship foundation.
- Read back their order to them to confirm it is correct and ask them to check their screen and ensure it is correct.
- Read them their total and then ask them to pull forward.
Stocking
- Stock all cups and lids at the drink station.
- Ensure all sauces, forks, knives, straws, and napkins are stocked up.
- Ensure the drive-thru cash drawer has enough change and bills for any transcation.
- Ensure the area is properly swept and the surfaces kept clean of any trash or debris.
- Ensure the tea urns are full for both the sweet and unsweet tea.
- Ensure the receipt machine is full of paper.
- Ensure the delivery stickers are fully stocked.
