Second-Order Linear Differential Equations

Jan 1, 2021 · 1 min read

Summary

We cover finding general solution of second-order linear differential equations which are of the form

$$ \frac{\mathrm{d}^{2} x}{\mathrm{~d} t^{2}}+p(t) \frac{\mathrm{d} x}{\mathrm{~d} t}+q(t) x=f(t). $$

The notion of linear independence is also introduced.
