Mosscore

Mosscore is an aesthetic that focuses on the forest similar to cottagecore- but is focused on the darker nature elements, mainly moss. The pallette of this aesthetic despite being related to cottagecore, doesn't touch nearly the same range of colors that cottagecore does. This aesthetic focuses more on dark colors, rather than the vibrant tones of nature. The aesthetic isn't just about nature though, and often incorporated dilapidated shack, cabins, other immersive structures.

Fashion is not a big focus in the aesthetic, but it is a blend between Dark Academia and Cryptidcore- but adding a cottagecore twist to it. Comfy wool socks, oxford and doc martens for shoes. The outfits are meant to incorporate the cozy and studious vibes of dark acadcemia and mix with the cryptidcore chaos.
