Angelcore
What is angelcore?
Angelcore is a fashion focused aesthetic that is inspired by angel imagery and the Rococo style popularized in the 18th Century.
The aesthetic takes heavy inspiration from european stereotypes of angels, and focuses on the "innocent" and "unnatural" beauty that european angels are depicted with. Angelcore can also be used with non-european angelic references, and not religion specific.
Like other aesthethics, angelcore does have a large focus on fashion, but also imagery. It features things such as
- Butterflies
- Cherubs
- Mirrors
- Ionic classical columns
- Harps
- Halos
- Sunny skies
- Keys...glitter..and more!
When dressing in a angelcore aesthetic, accessories are a large focus. Silk and sheer fabrics are often complemented with lace details, feathers, crosses, rosaries, wings, halos, and pearls. Dresses are common, with a focus on long, flowly clothing and a affinity for floral patterns. Some chinese angelcore influencers also incorporate taoist robes!
This focuses a lot on vibes and energy as well, ambient, classical and adjacent music genres are common, check out this piano cover of HEIZE, can you see my heart by Adagio Studios.
