This is Ghostie, our house spirit. I crocheted this hat for her after much campaigning and pleading on her part...! It is done in single crochet. The pom-pom is made from Red Heart Soft Brand acrylic which has a luxurious texture that I really like. While I favor natural fibers, acrylic works well for children's toys.
