Hello, I am William Thomas, a 19-year-old Computer Science student from Fairborn, Ohio. Some of my interests include golf, basketball, computers, and many other things. I went to Fairborn Highschool and I now attend the University of Cincinnati. I look forward to all the opportunities to grow as a person and help start my career through the University Honors program. I am wishing to use the University Honors program to fuel my passions while contributing positively to society. I am looking forward to taking advantage of the opportunities that are proposed to all students in the program. I hope to use all of the skills that I acquire during my studies to help advance me in the professional world.
My main reason for choosing to go into Computer Science was my love for problem-solving. I enjoy being given a difficult task and having to solve it. My love for computers and problem-solving collectively contributed to my interest in Computer Science. This major is something that I am extremely eager to explore throughout the course of my studies. Using my knowledge and interest in computers and all of the information that I will obtain as a Bearcat, I am very excited to see where my future is headed.
