Women in Technology

WiT is a organization that hosts technical and professional workshops and socials that strengthen the community of women involved in technology. Through Women in Tech, I participated in the MakeUC Hackathon, cultivated a mentor/mentee relationship, and attended multiple networking events with various tech companies.

ACM's Women in Computing

ACM-W is an organization that often partners with WiT to increase retention and recruitment of women in computing. Through ACM-W, I participated in many networking and technical opportunities. I have also received mentorship from a graduate student in the organization.

TechGirlz

TechGirlz is a non-profit organization that aims to inspire young girls to pursue the world of technology. I volunteer to help write blog posts to showcase the organization's accomplishments and goals. I have also been a Teaching Assistant for their virtual technical workshops, including a mobile app development workshop.

UC Pinoy American Student Organization

PASO is a cultural organization that provides a community for students of Filipino-descent or Filipino interest. As President of PASO, I have spearheaded our new "PenPamilya Program", a nationwide penpal program aimed to increase connections and interactions amongst multicultural organizations during the pandemic.

UC Vietnamese Student Association

As Media Chair of VSA, I promote the organization's general body meetings, philanthropy events, and collaborations. I also led the sticker fundraiser for Spring 2020, where we aimed to donate our proceeds to Love Across the Ocean in response to the floods in Vietnam.
