Sarah Marie Pullen was born on September 26, 1983 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her parents are Robert and Carol Pullen. Sarah also had an older brother, Michael Shane Pullen. She graduated from Mother of Mercy in 2001 and continued on to earn an associate degree from the University College in 2003. She completed her Information Engineering Technology bachelor degree graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2006 from the University of Cincinnati.
She was a student leader and an exceptional student. She was the president of the Women in IT student Group. She was active in the Student Ambassador group, Student Tribunal, and was one of the founders of the Information Technology Student Association. She was selected as the IT student of the year. While at UC she was a co-op student working for GE and UC.
After graduation she joined Cardinal Solutions in Cincinnati 2006 until her passing. As an IT consultant for Cardinal, she worked in many major corporations in Cincinnati such as Fifth Third Bank, Kroger Corporation, Fidelity Investment, and Ethicon Endo-surgery.
Outside of classes and work, Sarah enjoyed riding her motorcycle, swimming, and salsa dancing. She enjoyed playing with her cats and taking care of animals such as the time she tried to save a cicada from the middle of the street. She loved hanging out with friends on trips, at parties, and being outdoors such as canoeing or mountain bike riding. Before her passing, she enjoyed a trip to Peru with her cousin. Many times her family and her friends would all hang out together such as at the firework shows or trips to Kings Island.
She brought a cheerful smile and an enthusiastic energy to her activities. Sarah wanted everyone to be having a good time and laughing together. She treated her friends like family and lent a listening ear when needed.
Sarah was generous and kind and willing to help anyone in any way she could. She enjoyed working with Children's International as she supported two children through them.
