Thank you for your support! (8/23/2022): IEEE IRI'22 is now closed. Thanks to all the organizing committee members, program committee members, authors, attendees, presenters, session chairs, student volunteers, and friends for the support! We've emailed the link of a post-conference survey to the authors and registered attendees. If you didn't receive the link, please contact the PC Co-Chairs. We'd love to hear your feedback. CPS checking (8/12/2022): If you're an IRI'22 author, please pay attention to the email sent by Cristina Ceballos from IEEE CPS [from: cps@computer.org] earlier this week (around August 9, 2022) about having the last check of your names, affiliations, paper title, and the PDF version of camera-ready version of your paper. You must follow the instructions and deadline specified in Cristina's email, if you want to make any modification requests. Check your junk folder for such an email, or contact Cristina at [anoraklabllc@gmail.com] if you have any questions. Thank you for your attention on this very important matter in order for the IRI'22 Proceedings to appear in IEEE Xplore Digital Library in time!.
Best paper (8/12/2022): Congratulations to Carson Leung, Joshua Thomas, and Matthew Kwiatkowski on receiving this year's Best Paper Award for their paper: "A Multi-Dimensional Analysis of Traffic Incident Data for Disaster Management in Smart".
Zoom links and points of each paper (8/3/2022): Zoom links are added to the IRI 2022 program. Make sure that you download the latest version of the Zoom application and use your real name to log into IRI 2022 sessions. Student volunteers will check your registration status in order to authenticate the conference participants. In addition, the authors of accepted papers are asked to email the program co-chairs about the key points of their contributions before August 5, 2022. Please check the welcome email sent via EasyChair for this request and the rationales behind it. Thank you!
Program online (7/26/2022): IRI 2022 program is available. The authors shall follow the instructions on the program page to prepare the presentations. We look forward to an exciting, interactive, and productive IRI 2022 in August!
Camera-ready update (6/29/2022): An email was sent on June 24, 2022 about the opening of the camera ready. The authors shall submit their camera-ready papers before July 3, 2022.
Registration open (6/17/2022): The conference registraton is open. Early rate is available till June 26, 2022. Authors shall register before July 3, 2022 and are encouraged to take advantage of the early registration rate.
Camera-ready submission update (6/17/2022): The camera-ready submission deadline has been extended to July 3, 2022. We will notify the authors when the CPS camera-ready submission link becomes available. Thanks for the patience!
Special Issue (6/17/2022): Authors of accepted papers that address HealthCare topics will be invited to submit an extended version of their work to Springer Nature Computer Sciences (SNCS) Topical Issue entitled "Recent Trends on AI for HealthCare".
Keynote by Guy Paillet (5/17/2022): We are very happy to announce that Guy Paillet, Founder of General Vision Inc., will deliver a keynote at IRI'22.
Consider submitting your posters (5/12/2022): Now that the full paper submission is closed, please consider submitting your posters before June 12, 2022. The poster submission requires up to two pages describing ongoing and preliminary work, as well as tool demos.
Submission deadline extended (4/21/2022): The full paper submission deadline of IRI'22 has been extended to May 6, 2022. Take advantage of the virtual format of IRI'22. We look forward to your submissions!
Keynote by Prof. Kitagawa (4/21/2022): We are pleased to announce that Prof. Hiroyuki Kitagawa from the University of Tsukuba, Japan will deliver a keynote at IRI'22.
Four workshops accepted (3/27/2022): IRI'22 features four exciting workshops exploring emerging topics on AI for HealthCare (AIHC 2022), on data integration and mining (DIM 2022), on empirical methods for recognizing inferences in text (EM-RITE 2022), and on e-Health and m-Health Technologies for Ambient Assisted Living and Healthcare (TechAAL 2022). Please check the workshop pages and consider contributing your work to them!

About IEEE IRI

Data science has become the new frontier for self-driving cars and AI. Such intelligent applications derive from Information Reuse and Integration (IRI). IRI seeks to maximize the utility of information by creating simple, rich, and cost-effective knowledge representations and ontologies. IRI consequently explores strategies for integrating this knowledge into systems and applications. It plays a pivotal role in the capture, representation, maintenance, integration, validation, and extrapolation of information and the knowledge derived from it; and, it applies both information and knowledge for enhancing decision-making in various application domains.

This conference explores three major tracks: information reuse, information integration, and reusable systems. Information reuse explores the theory and practice of optimizing representations; information integration focuses on innovative strategies and algorithms for unifying diverse information in novel domains; and reusable systems focus on developing and deploying models and corresponding processes that enable Information Reuse and Integration to play a pivotal role in enhancing decision-making processes in various application domains.

The IEEE IRI conference serves as a forum for researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government to present, discuss, and exchange ideas that address real-world problems with real-world solutions. Theoretical and applied papers are both included. The conference program will include special sessions, open forum workshops, panels, and keynote speeches.
