ELINT Detection System

Turn Off Radar

To remain concealed in Gerat, always keep your radar off. Resist the temptation to let it bleep away as you move through Gerat. The formidable adversaries in the region have an ELINT warning system, capable of detecting your presence within a matter of in-game days. Reserve radar activation exclusively for situations when you're actively tracking an enemy. Use it only if you're prepared to endure a barrage of incoming missiles should the mission take an unfavorable turn. Trust me, it's a risk you're likely to face.

ELINT is King

ELINT, without a doubt, stands as the crown jewel in your arsenal. With a top-tier ELINT system at your disposal, you gain the incredible ability to spot threats looming on the horizon from an astonishing 500 kilometers away, all while discerning their precise approach. The sheer potency of this tool cannot be overstated. It's imperative to emphasize just how indispensable ELINT truly is. By eschewing your radar and operating in stealth mode, you effectively cut off the enemy's access to their own ELINT systems, rendering their tracking capabilities futile. This, my friends, is the very reason why the radar must remain silenced.

Missiles

There are three types of strategic missiles in the game—A-100, Kh-15, and Kh-15P. The A-100 has a range of 400km and relies on a nearby fire control radar for guidance. The Kh-15 and Kh-15P, with a range of 1600km, have built-in radar and target radar emissions, respectively. Use strategic missiles against enemy strike groups for maximum impact. Remember, turning off your radar is key to avoid detection.

Aircraft

Fighters come in two variants—LA-29 and T-7. The T-7, at $2500, outshines the LA-29 in every aspect. Launch fighters from carriers and send them in groups of three for optimal performance. In battle, they attack in squadrons of three. Fighters can be deployed for direct attacks, interception, or scouting. Equip them with weapons such as autocannons, air-to-air missiles, air-to-"ground" missiles, and bombs. The T-7 is superior to the LA-29 in speed, durability, and weapon-carrying capacity. Consider selling your LA-29s and investing in T-7s for better overall performance.
