Tyr Hat

This is a hat design that I created myself, knitting with Red Heart yarn. The symbols on the hat in red are the Eldar Futhark Rune known as Tiwaz which stands for Justice and is associated with the Norse Deity, Tyr, who lost his hand in the binding of the Fenris wolf and the Hammer of Thor, known as Mjolnir

The lower band of ribbing on this hat can be folded up into the crown as in the first image or down to cover one's ears in colder weather as in the lower image..
