Doug's Donut Shop has been serving the North Dakota lakeside city for over 55 years. That means that our little bakery has been in buisness since 1966. Doug started this bakery with a buisness loan he recieved from the bank on 3rd Street, which isn't even operating anymore. That just shows you how long we have been in service. It wasnt all easy going as when Doug moved in there were several bakery's in the area. And they weren't too happy about Doug's arrival. Doug pushed on and worked hard to gain the trust of the community around him. He is quoted and saying "My dad gave me the strong work effort I possess today. And anytime I needed advice i knew how to call." This strong will and demeanor helped vote him #1 Bakery in the city 5 times.
