Sara Hillner ’03 went to LA right after graduation from the EMD and was soon working as an video editor. As of fall 07 ) Sara was lead editor on “I Propose” a show getting reading to premiere on Style/E! networks.
Sara recently met Chris Balish and they were surprised to find they have the EMD in common. They sent us the above photo from Big Bear Lake, CA.
Chris Balish is a graduate of Dartmouth who came to Professor Fox in 1992 as he contemplated a career change. Chris enrolled in the EMD’s journalism courses, including Uptown. He then turned an internship in Cincinnati into a news writing job. He then became a reporter for Channel 12, a talk show host in St. Louis, and is now host of a new show in the CW called CW Now. Chelby Kosto ’02 (we knew her as Michelle) is back in Ohio reporting for WDTN in Dayton since September 07. After graduation Chelby worked for a station in Zanesville, Ohio. She then went to Baton Rouge Louisiana, just in time to do reporting on Hurricane Katrinia. Since she’s been in Dayton she’s had stories featured on CNN and on MSNBC.
