Marjorie Fox

Marjorie Fox has been on UC’s Electronic Media Faculty since 1989.  She started Uptown in 1990.
She became a professor after a career which included three years as a reporter and anchor in Peoria Illinois and eight years as a producer and executive producer at WMAQ-TV Chicago.
Marjorie was there when women were rare in newsrooms, when film gave way to video tape, and is now working hard to at least be comfortable in the digital age.
She is a graduate, in political science, from Hanover College and she has a master’s in journalism from Northwestern University.
