Prof. Altan M. Ferendeci, PhD
Dr. Ferendeci received his B.S.E.E. from Robert College School of
Engineering, Istanbul, Turkey. He received his MS and
PhD degrees from Case Institute of Technology, Cleveland, Ohio. Between 1966-77 he was at Cekmece Nuclear Research Center as Head of Plasma Physics Section and later as Acting Head of the Physics Division. He remained there until 1977, when he joined the
Physics Department of Bogazici University. At the end of the same
year, he became a Visiting Associate Professor of Electrical
Engineering and Applied Physics at Case Western Reserve University. In 1988, he joined the ECECS
Department of the University of Cincinnati.
Dr. Ferendeci is a life member of IEEE, Society of Sigma Xi and Eta Kappa Nu.
Dr. Ferendeci's research interests are in the areas of

Microwave and Millimeter Wave Communications Laboratory.
