Draw a line from z_L through the center of the Smith chart
180^o from the z_L, locate y_L which is |G_L| distance opposite z_L at a distance of |G_L|=0.42
Read the normalized admittance value at this point.
Answer: y_L=1.2-j1.0
Note: the actual load admitance is Y_L=(y_L)(Y_c)=(1.2-j1.0)(1/50)=0.024-j0.02 (Siemens)
