About the Giraffe Weevil
The Giraffe Weevil, or Trachelophorus giraffa, is a unique species of beetle found only in Madagascar. They are known for their long necks, which resemble those of giraffes, and are commonly found in forests and wooded areas.

Habitat and Diet

Reproduction
Female Giraffe Weevils lay their eggs in the soft tissue of trees, and the young hatch after several weeks. The larvae are small and white and resemble grubs. They eventually pupate and emerge as adults.
