In 2020, it felt like the world was ending. To kill time, I began producing music and sketching out a series of cartoon characters that I would later bring together in the world I dubbed "The Pulse-verse."
Glyph
Inspired by Bill Cipher's personality, Sans's face(kinda), and X-Gaster drape coat.
Glyph is a chaos god who wishes to bring mayhem to the Pulse-verse. He resides in his pocket dimension, The Magenta Void, and leads his followers, The Glyphics, with his infinite power and blade of fear.
Sid
Inspired by an idea... I guess
Sid is one of the Guardians of the Pulse-verse. Being the product of a soul experiment, Sid has the ability to produce a special state of matter called magic and manipulate it to do anything her imagination commands it to.
Axie
Inspired by Carol Jacobs character from the Dream SMP, the release of axolotls in Mincraft, and importance of axolotls in my favorite show, Gravity Falls.
Axie is a easy going, fun, anthropomorphic time-traveling axolotl. He is part of the Guardians and a protector of time in the Pulse-verse. He uses his portals for more than time-travel though. He can use them to teleport and travel to other dimentions.
Manic
Inspired by Whitty from the Friday Night Funking Whitty Mod and a jacket I own.
Manic is the explosive right-hand man of Glyph in his quest to bring chaos to the Pulse-verse and beyond. With an explosive personality, litteraly, he fits right in with the Glyphics. He has pyroenesis, and he wants to see it all burn.
Astrolix
Inspired by the design of Raven from "Teen Titans Go" with a little more edge to the design.
Astrolix is being of balance. He watches from a distance and sees all. He will only interfear if the balance is shifted. Being that Pulse and Glyph can get carried away with their battle of order and creation versus destruction and chaos, a third party is needed to prevent Pulse's creation and Glyph's chaos from stressing the fabric of reality.
