Personal

A little more context beyond the keyboard: coaching, training, and the home lab I’m building to stay sharp. There is more to life than your professional acomplishments, and here are some of the thing I enjoy.

Mason Youth Football Coach

Coaching a 3rd grade youth football team during practice

I help coach a 3rd grade youth football team and I’m currently in my fourth year coaching. I love building fundamentals in early confidence, communication, and a team-first mindset. I am passionate about taking my love for the game of football and passing it on to a younger generation.

  • Practice planning and drills that keep kids engaged
  • Teaching technique and safety the right way
  • Helping players grow week-to-week and learn what it means to be a respectful young man (it's bigger than football)

Training for HYROX

Outside of tech, I’m training for a HYROX competition. Consistent effort, measurable progress, and staying disciplined is the name of the game.

  • Running + functional strength work on a weekly plan
  • Focused on endurance, pacing, and recovery
  • Tracking progress and dialing in consistency

Training Snapshot

  • Frequency: 4–5 sessions per week
  • Focus: Running + functional strength
  • Goal: Endurance, pacing, and recovery

Homelab

My homelab is where I turn theory into reps. Linux, virtualization, networking, and services I can monitor and improve. Here are a few of the core platforms I’m working with right now.
