Daniel received his B.S. in Psychology and his B.A. in Spanish from the University of Cincinnati in 2012, graduating Summa Cum Laude with honors in both degrees. As an undergraduate, he worked as a research assistant in Dr. Sarah Whitton’s Today’s Couples and Families lab and in Dr. Steven Howe’s Evaluation, Policy, and Program Planning lab. His interests in improving the understanding of how those in marginalized populations fare on a variety of factors led to an honors thesis focusing on race-ethnic distinctions in same-sex relationship quality. In 2013, Daniel turned his focus to a M.Ed. program at UC in Literacy and Second Language Studies with a focus on Adult/International TESL.
