Carly Varland

Carly is a psychology major at UC, who will graduate in May 2018. As a research assistant in the TCF lab, Carly has been very involved in supporting the Partner-Assisted Cessation Treatment study. In particular, Carly plays a key role in the coding project in which she uses a qualitative coding system to analyze couples’ videotaped interactions. She is interested in studying child psychology, specifically childhood trauma, and plans to attend graduate school after earning her Bachelor of Science degree. Outside of the lab, Carly is involved in Psi Chi, Psychology Club, Pi Beta Phi, and the Women’s Club Soccer Team.
