Amanda received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Harding University in December 2006 and her Master of Science degree from the University of Memphis in May 2009. Her previous research focused on aggression and popularity in children's peer relations.

    Amanda is a doctoral candidate in the clinical psychology program with an interest in romantic, parent-child, and sibling relationships and in child outcomes, especially among families facing particular challenges (i.e., stepfamilies, same-sex families).
