2024
May 9: Congratulations to Xinyi for receiving the Central Ohio Local Section Scholarship and Nick D. Yin Scholarship from AIHA.
May 2: Congratulations to Dr. Morrow on his new research grant funded by Ohio BWC to study respirable crystalline silica with Raman spectroscopy.
Apr 26: Cutting tanned leather with laser could lead to potential exposure to hexavalent chromium and other aerosols.
Apr 5: Dr. Wang presented AI applications in industrial hygiene at the Midwest Regional ERC Symposium 2024 in Chicago, IL.
Mar 27: Dr. Wang presented the design and development of EPIC at the Ohio Safety Congress & Expo 2024 in Columbus, OH.
Mar 14: Dr. Wang co-hosted the first AEROSOL DAY, a symposium that brought researchers from UC and NIOSH to share findings and engage in discussions about aerosol research.

2023
Dec 10: Congratulations to Drs. Thomas Gerding and M Christina Kander for graduating from their PhD programs, Go Bearcats!
Nov 14: Dr. Wang discussed with WKEF's Lydia Brice about potential pollutants emission and release into the environment from lithium-ion battery burns.
Oct 30: Dr. Wang received a second round of funding from the Ohio Beaure of Workers' Compensation (BWC). News release from UC and BWC.
Jul 30: We are recruiting groundskeepers and lawnmowers to participate in a NIOSH-funded study to examine potential CO and noise emissions from using gas-powered equipment. See flyer here.
Jul 1: Congratulations to Xinyi Niu for receiving the ERC pilot project to assess the impacts of respirator design and demographics on the performance of N95s.
