About Me
My legal first name is Peter, but I go by my middle name Eli because my Dad’s first name is also Peter. I am from a small town in Ohio, Lebanon, which is about 30 minutes north of UC's campus and about 15 minutes from Kings Island Amusement Park. I come from a two-parent household with two sisters, one is 21 named Zoe, and the other is 12 named Zaida. Growing up, I went to public school at Lebanon City Schools and spent most of my free time participating in sports such as football, lacrosse, soccer, and swimming.
Since I was about five years old I have been participating in competitive swimming for various teams. Swimming growing up was almost like a second education, conceiving most of my free time throughout much of my childhood. I truly love swimming and the relationships that I created with fellow teamates. When I was eight years old, I was ranked third in the country for my age group in the 50-yard breaststroke. This was one of my biggest achievements growing up in the sport since I was recognized on a national scale. In high school, I was able to qualify for the Division 1 state championship where I placed 28th in the state of Ohio in 100-yard freestyle.
Currently, I am a freshman majoring in psychology with an interest in an industrial-organizational career path. I plan on attending graduate school in the future to receive hopefully a masters degree. At UC, I'm currently involved in Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity as the Social Chairman. This position requires me to organize and communicate social events to other memebers, along with planning weekly chapter meetings. I'm also the Vice Director of Service for Alpha Lambda Delta National Honors Society, where I work with other executives to plan bi-weekly service events for members of the society. In the future, I hope to hold a chair position in the Psychology Club along with a TA role for my previous statistics teacher.
In my free time you can find me mostly listening to podcasts, creating music, working out, and hiking through nature trails. A lot of this free time is dedicated to hanging out with my girlfriend, Gabrielle, my high school sweetheart. I also try to dedicate a lot of free time to going home and spending time with the family. Whenever I'm not using my free time to my advantage, I usually am watching comedy movies and looking for new artists to listen to. My all-time favorite comedy movie is Old School and my favorite artist to listen to is Juice Wrld, rest in peace.
