The U.S. Institute of Peace supported a September 1999 instructional technology workshop that brought fifty faculty from eight countries and ten states to U.C. The training session launched THRO-Net, a listserv for instructors using the e-cases. The project seeks both public and private funding to conduct annual training workshops on internet conferencing with THRO exercises.
The Project Director and THRO Associates have given presentations at meetings of the International Studies Association, the North American Case Research Association, the World Affairs Case Research Association, the American Association of Higher Education, EDUCAUSE, the Midwest Political Science Association, and the Lilly Conference on College Teaching.
