Student Researchers
.Mr. Cai is from Shanghai, China . He got his B. S. in Materials Protection from East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) in 1997, and got his M. E. in Environmental Engineering from ECUST in 2000. He worked as a process designer in wastewater, waste gas, and noise treatment for Shanghai Light Industrial Environmental Protection Technology and Research Institute from Aug. 2000 to Aug. 2002. Mr. Cai started his PhD studies in Environmental Engineering at University of Cincinnati in 2002 working with Dr. Sorial. His research interests are involved in VOC emission control employing trickling-bed air biofilter and biological wastewater treatment.
