Hey, I am Sukhbir Sekhon, an BSIT student at University of Cincinnati and currently enrolled in MBA program as well. Well, there are a lot of things that I can talk about myself, but I believe that there are three 3 things you should know about me. I was born in India and spent 16 years there. For 16 years, I lived in a competitive and learning environment where I learned that giving up is not an option. I educated myself in programming and gained ethics and morals from teachers, family, and friends. Those ethics made me better human being. I learned to help others, respect everyone, keep learning, do what I love to do, and be loyal.
Then 3 years ago I came to US to obtain better education. I was not always wanted to come in IT world, but I wanted to become Astrophysicist or Mechanical Engineer. I love everything about space and wanted to explore more about deep universe. My friends used to call me an Astronaut, which sounds stupid. I also love robotics and I like to build drones and Arduino based rovers/robots. But then I was introduced to the concept of building pc. I kept looking at all the parts and tried to understand their use. Once I understood what they are then I started thinking about making my own pc, but I was just like a regular kid who didn’t had enough money to build it. I spent found work at Kroger and saved those money to buy parts for the pc. Finally, I build my own pc and I am currently writing this introduction on that pc. Then I knew that I am going into IT therefore, I enrolled in IT program.
My plans for future are very straightforward. I want to get as many certifications I can get during my college year and want to work with great companies those who promote modern technologies in their workplaces for effective and efficient product. Then I want to get degree and gain experience in developing environment. I like working around new technologies because it expands my knowledge horizon and that is the only reason why I am here, to learn. My goal is to bring positive changes in people lives and impact their daily life by solving their problems using technology.

Actively attend meetings and learn more about new exciting technologies. One of the coolest technology that I got to learn about was VR.
Worked on Operations and Mechanical side of the Robot that me and my team built to compete in FIRST competitions.
Me and my friends built an Continuos Integration process for deploying new version of code on github and updating live application which would be running on Docker container using kubernetes.
I am a co-captain of competitve dancing group and lead a group of 20 outstanding dancers. Help in choreography and running workshops every week.
Using Azure we built an AI that would scan all the content from medical records pdf using OCR and create word document report out of necessary information that require to make report using Azure functions. Also created a helpful visual of the data using PowerBi.
