For this illustration. I had to create a letterform by only using letters. I wanted to do an Japanese theme, so after searching I came across a Torii gate. To create this image I used "O,I,L,D,U" and used a free transform tool, and the warp tool.

For this illustration. I wanted to improve my earlier Torii Gate illustration. I started extruding the Torri gate into a three-dimensional shape. Then, I took a rectangle tool and created a brown rectangle. Once, I finished that. I layered a lighter brown elliptical shape. To make the grass. I used a green bristle brush, and applied light strokes.

For this illustration. I wanted to do a pixel art of Link from Legend of Zelda. The assignment was to create three-dimensional cubes, create an art or structure from the various cubes. To begin the process of doing this piece. I searched for pixel art of Link. Once I found an image, I made notes on many blocks wide each piece was. I started forming the feet first, and gradually worked my way up.

This piece was the most difficult for me. The assignment was to create a parody of Mona Lisa. illustration is my greatest strength. I better with photography, and using Photoshop to create parodies. So illustrator to try, and do this piece was challenging. The concept behind this piece was Día de Muertos (Day of The Dead). The main focus of was the sugar skull, the head of the mona lisa. On the top is a head band of roses intertwined by vines.

This piece was an interesting concept for me. The assignment was for the illustration to describe itself. The concept was "Absence and Presence of Color". Contrast was the main point of the illustration. As, well as making use of white space. When looking at the image the eye is drawn to "Presence". By, doing that it makes the theme pop more.
