Getting Your Own Copy of ArcGIS

UC has a site license for many ESRI products... unfortunately the software may only be installed on machines owned by UC (software in the department was provided under this agreement).

We will be using ArcView 8.3 (a.k.a. ArcGIS 8.3).  If you would like to purchase the software, it is available at very attractive academic pricing under two options:

• Option #1:    Software is provided with a time-limited license good for one year (after   which time the license will expire and the software will no longer be usable).  Price $100
• Option #2:    Software, datasets, and manuals are provided under an unlimited student license.  Price $250.
