Montana GIS Data

The Montana State Library has a program called the Natural Resource Information System that was set up to make information on Montana’s natural resources accessible to the public. They have a great GIS page where you can download lots of free GIS data or access digital orthophotos and 1:24,000 quadrangles through their ArcIMS image server (for ESRI users). If you can’t find what you are looking for, check these other sources or use their Request Tracker and they will try to help you find it.
