Purpose

Use NEW and DEM's  to make a shaded topographic map of the same an assigned Ohio County(s) you looked at in the previous exercise.

Discussion

As you will, no doubt, recall, last wee we mosaiced dlg's of an assigned Ohio county to produce a detailed topographic shaded relief contour map.  This week's assignment is to make a similar map using NED and DEM's.

Deliverable

Produce a shaded relief contour map of your assigned county(s) using the NED dataset then do the same thing with the DEM dataset.

• labeled and bolded contour lines

• outline of your county

• legend

• scale

• north arrow

Print your maps on 11" x 17" paper.
