Purpose

Use 7.5' dlg's to make a shaded topographic map of an assigned Ohio County.

Discussion

In this assignment you'll use 7.5' dlg's downloaded from the Ohio website to make a mosaic of an Ohio County I will assign you from the following list:

Fulton
Henry
Putnam
Allen
Auglaize
Clark
Greene
Clermont
Brown
Shelby
Warren
Logan
Champaign
Miami

As I mentioned in the write up, generating the tin will be very time consuming (other than for playing video games, generally high-end computers aren't necessary... the generation of tins is an exception).

Deliverable

Your shaded relief map should include:

• labeled and bolded contour lines

•  roads

• outline of your county

• legend

• scale

• north arrow

Print your map on 11" x 17" paper.

What's so special about these counties (from a GIS standpoint)?
