Neocatastrophism

• Impact Features:  There are a great many impact features on Earth.  If the earth's surface where not so dynamic, presumably its surface would be as scarred by impacts as the surface of the moon.

  • This is a very nice list of the known impact features on Earth, their location, age, and size

  • Prof. Keenan Lee, emeritus, Colorado School of Mines has written several interesting papers on the Tunguska and Popigai impacts

• Catastrophic Floods There are, no doubt, a great many features produced from draining of pro glacial lakes during and immediately after the Pleistocene.
