Inauguration Day 1933: Out with the old, in with the New Deal.  FDR's campaign song for 1932 was "Happy Days are Here Again."

Upon his return from the Yalta Conference, FDR addressed a joint session of Congress on March 1, 1945.  Due to his marked decline in health, this was the first time he had to remain seated during a speech.
