The European Council
- heads of the EU member states + foreign ministers
- responsible for all major policy issues
The European Commission
- Responsible for EU legislation, implementation and monitoring compliance
- comissioner for agriculture, competition etc.
- 2 commissioners from larger states and one form other.
Council of Minsiters
- one from each state with varied composition (e.g., minister of agriculture etc.).
European Parliament
- changing role as the only democratically elected body.
