I am currently an international freshman studying for Bachelor’s in Information Technology in the University of Cincinnati!
I am from Mumbai, India. I have been very passionate about using technology to help people and solve problems from a young age. Therefore, I learned programming and started to code! Then I used to modify the software on my Android phone and from then I graduated to modifying the Hardware and Software on my PC, at which point I switched to Linux and studied about its history and about how Linus Torvalds collaborated with people all around the world to create an open-source software which I found very interesting.
Later, I started learning about vulnerabilities, what they are, how bad actors could exploit them and then decided to learn more about Cybersecurity in general, then I went into the niches of Cryptology, Steganography, Open Source Intelligence Gathering, Network Security and Web application security. As cybersecurity is an ever-changing field, I keep myself updated with the latest happenings by reading CVEs, tweets on social media and books! I wish to work towards sharpening my skill-set and further expanding into the fields of reverse engineering and social engineering as well.
