The objective of this project was to create six different visuals from two interval systems we created, each step adding something new to the previous. The first image shows the two interval systems I worked with, followed by the result of combining the two. The third image shows the start of abstraction on the system and working with the figure and ground. The next step was to add in shades of gray to our system, the placement of which continued the abstraction of the piece. Then, we were to add colors of our choice to the design. We were to follow the addition of color with the addition of a shape and the final image contains all of the above along with a texture.
