Salmon-crested Cockatoo

Cockatoos are noisy, flocking parrots that inhabit Australia and island countries to its north and west. Loud squawking enables them to communicate in thick forests. The salmon-crested cockatoo is a popular bird in captivity, which is one reason its populations are declining as birds are captured from the wild for the pet trade.
