During week three, we visited one of UC's hidden gems - the greenhouse
on the roof of Rieveschl Hall.
Trivia: Dr. George Rieveschl, a graduate of the College of Applied
Science, invented the first antihistamine, found in Benadryl.
High Pressure Sodium Lights
High Pressure Sodium lights give off an orange shade, and is best for
growing flowers. In this photo, the lights are warming up.
Note the difference in shade between the HPS lights and the flourescent
lights.

It can grow into a tree - 40 feet tall in Hawaii.
It prefers medium light, some filtered light.
