• First, create your oz account.
•  http://oz.uc.edu/apply.html
• Now, to access your oz account, use telnet.  With telnet, you log on to Unix remotely.  Demo:
• Start, Run, telnet oz.uc.edu
• Login: your account name, password.
• Choose default printer (99 is fine)
• You're in!
• Other, more secure, more graphical packages are available.  SSH is on the Bearcat Online CD, available at the bookstore for $5.50.
• Type logout to log out.
• To move files to your oz account, use FTP.
• File Transfer Protocol, allows you to copy files to different computers.
• Also on the Bearcat Online CD.
• Login is similar to telnet.
• Choose disconnect to log out.
