Review of Forms in HTML

Must begin with <form> tag, and end with </form>

Can have multiple forms in one page. Identify different forms with
NAME attribute.

METHOD is usually GET or POST, but other methods
are available.

GET puts the data in the URL, has a maximum limit.

POST puts the data in a variable sent to the server, not limited.

Optional if processed locally (JavaScript).

ACTION is the URL to which the data are submitted. It can
be a Perl script, for example.
