window Object

• The top-level object.  Everything starts here.
• One per browser window.
• We've been using this object already:
• prompt("statement" [, default value])
• confirm("statement")
• alert("statement")
• This is a special case where you don't need to place "window." before the method.  Normally, you do need to do so.
• Other methods, properties
• window.status controls the status bar.  Where have we seen this before?
