Tiger

The tiger (Panthera tigris) is the largest species of the cat family and one of the most iconic and powerful predators in the animal kingdom. Native to parts of Asia, tigers are recognized for their striking orange coats with black stripes, which provide excellent camouflage in their forestand grassland habitats. These solitary and territorial animals are apex predators, hunting a wide range of prey, including deer, wild boar, and sometimes even larger animals like buffalo. Tigers are also known for their strength, agility, and ability to swim, which sets them apart from many other big cats. Sadly, all subspecies of tigers are either endangered or critically endangered due to habitat loss, poaching, and human-wildlife conflict, making conservation efforts crucial for their survival.
